Tell me about how you started working with National Risk Management Services?
National Risk Management had the honor to train me in this industry starting in 1997. I had insurance experience and knew their data management systems so I successfully interviewed with them for a position. I think what sold them on me was that I had “passion” for boating/tubing (an interview I will never forget).
What sort of roles have you had in the company?
During my early years at National Risk Management, I have had the pleasure of experiencing each position from receptionist, accounting, account servicing, claims and marketing. I now focus primarily on the marketing of insurance programs for clients to various companies for the best possible solution.
How would you describe National Risk Management Services?
National Risk Management is a family of colleagues that have over 20yrs expertise not only from the insurance company side but from the customer side as well. They strive to develop the best solution on Risk Management for their clients as well as prospective clients. National Risk takes the time to know the customers, their businesses, as well as the obstacles they face so they can be a longtime advocate/partner.
What do you like most about the trucking industry?
The most intriguing part of the trucking industry to me is the diversity of people I get to talk with and share moments with. This industry is compiled with some amazing go-getters and hardworking individuals that are a breath of fresh air to work with.
What do you do when you are not working?
When not working, my husband & I enjoy the youth of our wonderful boys, Andrew (9) and Tommy (7). We try to enjoy every aspect of each season and spend quality time together playing board games.
